Why does having an MBA make a difference?

It doesn’t – the people behind it do. Because social media is about engagement, why not work with someone who can engage with an entire organization and all of its stakeholders? MBAs spend way too much time in groups: not only do they know how generate great ideas; they can sell them to anywhere from finance department to the creative team.

What can Social Media MBAs do for my business?

In short; anything. We’ve built the site as a hub for consultants, strategists, finance geeks and accountants.  The only requirement is that they have a passion for social media as an essential component of any competitive business.

Why are there so many Vanderbilt people on here?

Because we rock social media, of course. Other than that, the site was started by 5 MBAs at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management with the intention of spreading outwards. We’ll let Duke in the club as soon as they send us an apology for Vandy Tea Partay.

How do I get onto Social Media MBA?

Though I can’t hire an MBA full-time, are they available for individual projects?
